HOW IT WORKS

Before

The day

After

Details details details! We will discuss so many things via google form and call/Facetime before your big day. Things like your love story, location, pose, color schemes, vibes of the day, just to name a few! This is so important so we can insure your personality, mood, and feelings from your wedding day are perfectly captured on canvas.

The fun begins!! I will arrive to the venue around two hours before the event begins to start blocking in the background. Your guests will be so thrilled and intrigued when they see a painter recreating your day as they find their seats before the ceremony! The canvas will begin morphing into a beautiful representation of your love as the day unfolds around you. Towards the end of the evening, I’ll snag you and your new boo to view the painting and take a few photos together.

To ensure you are more than satisfied with your completed painting, I will need to take the canvas home for a few touch ups in my studio. This will include any additional small details, color correction, and facial refinement. A final layer of varnish will be applied to seal the painting to preserve the work of art for years to come. I offer personal delivery if you are located near Lancaster County, otherwise, your canvas will be shipped to you! You can expect your painting 1-2 months after your wedding day.

FAQ’s

Q: What style do you paint in?
A: My goal as the artist is to capture the overall mood of your event on canvas. You can expect a finished painting with realistic perspectives and proportions, with soft details that makes the painting feel like you! My paintings are a delicate balance between realism and impressionistic.

Q: What scenes do you paint?
A: I can paint any scene you want, but typically work to compose different moments of the event into one complete painting.

Q: Can I have specific friends or family members in the painting?
A: You can specify certain individuals or groups to be included in your completed painting. During our consultation, we can discuss who that looks like for you. Additional members will be an additional charge. Bride and groom are always complimentary with each package.

Q: What kind of paint do you use?

A: I paint with acrylic on a stretched woven canvas.

Q
: What size is the painting?
A: I offer canvas sizes in a 16x20, 18x24, and 22x28 inch canvas. Base packages prices are set with each canvas size but are customizable based on the requests of the painting.

Q: When will my painting be finished?

A: Paintings are usually able to be mostly finished by the end of the event. However, I do prefer to bring the painting home for detail refinement, and final varnish application. These will be finished up as soon as possible, but you can expect to receive your painting approximately 1-2 months after your event.

Q: How far are you willing to drive to a venue before it’s too far?

A: To make an effort to balance work and family life, the furthest I am willing to travel at this time are the surrounding states around Nebraska. (Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Iowa, Missouri, and Kansas)
